Reinforcing steel is indispensable in reinforced concrete. It strengthens concrete structures and prevents cracking by absorbing tensile and compressive forces. The combination of concrete and steel creates a robust whole that can withstand heavy loads and long-term wear.
Reinforcing steel, also known as reinforcing iron, is widely used in foundations, floors, walls and columns. Merofix supplies round reinforcing steel, straight or folded as desired. Concrete bars are also available for anchoring. All products can be provided with a screw thread of usually 150 millimetres; material is available in lengths from 500 to 12,000 millimetres. Other thread lengths are also possible.
