A solid construction starts with the right foundation. This also applies to Merofix, because from the start the bar was set high: all industrial fasteners had to meet the highest quality requirements. The product range has become increasingly broader, but quality has never been compromised. As a specialist in customization, Merofix has developed into an established name in the sector and a trusted partner for (industrial) partners.

The start
Three brothers with a passion for precision work start a company together: Merofix (then under the name Mero-Fix). Customization is important from the very beginning: threaded products are made to measure for industrial builders and installation brokers, among others. And that is still the case.
The first plans
Koen Jacobs and Kristof Christis, the current owners, gather for the first time to discuss the acquisition of Merofix. There was no lack of enthusiasm and ambition, but the corona pandemic in 2020 brought the process to a standstill.
The acquisition
After the pandemic, the world starts moving again. On November 4, 2020, Koen and Kristof officially took over the company. A new chapter in the Merofix story has begun.
Realizing ambitions
After a thorough two-year training period, Koen and Kristof know the
company through and through. The preparations are completed, the signals are green. It is time to turn vision into reality.
Expansion
Merofix is growing steadily, also outside Belgium. With new customers in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Israel and France, international expansion is a fact.
Continuous growth
The family business of that time has developed into a successful SME with a dozen permanent employees. Merofix also continues to develop, literally in all directions. The goal: to serve the whole of Europe and become the reference in customized fasteners.

Are you looking for fasteners for industrial or mechanical applications? Merofix is the specialist, also for customization in different diameters, weights and steel types. For sectors such as petrochemicals and piping, we produce (large) U-brackets in galvanized steel or stainless steel, standard or customized. We always keep DIN 3570 versions in stock.

Merofix is constantly innovating and investing in advanced production techniques. Our extensive machine park includes cutting and wire rolling machines, bending machines and induction machines. This allows a wide range of operations. Quality is a given, as well as professional finishing and high production speed (average 3.5 tons of threaded products and fasteners per day).

Merofix has a strategic raw material stock. In combination with optimized production processes, we deliver quickly: blank versions within a week and a half, galvanized materials within three weeks.
