An L-anchor – also known as a hook anchor, concrete anchor or anchor bolt – is mainly used for embedding in concrete. They are widely used in steel structures, prefabricated construction and civil engineering, where they provide a solid anchorage of load-bearing elements. L-cavity anchors and wall plate anchors create stability in masonry and concrete structures. Variants such as screw thumbs and screw hooks enable specific applications within construction and installation technology. L-anchors are relatively easy to produce. This makes them a cost-efficient solution for sturdy and durable anchoring.
